Community Clean-up Thanks!!!

We recently has two clean-up events and wanted to take a moment to acknowledge these efforts!

Thanks to the volunteers who helped out at the annual Community Clean-up Day July 14th organized by the Swansboro Pilot's Assn. and the MVFA.  El Dorado County Disposal donated two huge dumpsters again this year in the Fire Station parking lot and they were filled to the brim!  We really appreciate the community members who donated generously to the Swansboro Pilot's Assn. College Scholarship Fund during this event.

Additionally, we want to thank the ten volunteers (some pictured here), organized by MVFA and the Swansboro Pilot's Association, who picked up trash along Mosquito Road from the cutoff to the bridge on July 19th while the bridge was closed. Total take was eight 55 gallon bags, plus some exercise equipment and two closet doors! See you next year.
