A Tribute to Lois Pearson

This is a photo of the Lois Pearson memorial which was made possible by a group effort. Ron Speake had been talking about doing this for over a year.  Ron asked Steve Loree and his son Steven to design, cut and weld the metal.  Then a few days ago, Ron and Leo Chaloux mounted it to a stone that Kim Purcell had moved into place with her tractor next to the pavilion at Finnon Lake.  This memorial is now the centerpiece of the garden area that Ron and Jan Okimura have been planting and grooming. Residents and members pay our respects to the founder of MVFA - Lois Pearson.
